SPLIT& ANGLED
Along with being incredibly beautiful, the split and angled design allows for many personalized design options and the inclusion of our ENHANCED MASS SYSTEM. This DOUBLE WALL design reduces cabinet resonances to improve clarity. We hand craft our cabinets and use real wood veneers to create beautiful works of art that are of heirloom quality.

THE UTMOST ATTENTION TO DETAIL
There are many elements that make our speakers extraordinary. Many of those elements will remain hidden as they deal with the internal design. From double walled construction, enhanced mass, oxygen free pure copper wiring, extra cross bracing, tuned ports, and the inclusion of specialized vibration damping are some of the elements that make our products so special.
Premium components,
Premium sound!
When it comes to build quality and sound reproduction and you won't find better than SEAS EXCEL SERIES components. We have partnered with our Norwegian Friends and have blended their class leading components into fine MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS in a timeless style.

No less important are the TWO completely separate hand built bespoke crossovers that utilize French made components by Solen. There is one for the tweeter and another for the mid-bass woofer. They too are of the highest caliber and an extremely crucial element in music reproduction.

The ”CRESCENDO” is an Ultra High End 29mm soft dome tweeter with a
HEXADYM magnet system
An optimally shaped dome and integrated wide surround manufactured by SEAS
from SONOMEX ensure excellent performance and consistency.
A high efficiency HEXADYM magnet system (US Patent 6020805) based on 6
radially magnetized NdFeB magnet blocks provide efficient ventilation and damping
of cavities behind the dome, surround and voice coil. Moderate magnetic stray fields
represent no problems in AV installations.
A generously underhung voice coil with flexible lead-out wires, ensures low
distortion even with low crossover frequencies.
A 6mm precision machined aluminum front plate with moderate horn loading
ensures linear frequency response and reasonable efficiency.
The central part of the horn is made from chrome plated precision machined aluminum.
A substantial injection molded rear chamber made from zinc eliminates unwanted
chamber wall resonances and conducts heat away from the magnet system.
The rear chamber and the front plate are Nextel painted to obtain a durable and attractive
finish.
6 1/2 inch Nextel coated High Fidelity Mid/Bass driver with an injection molded metal chassis.
An adaptive rubber surround provides an ideal match to the cone over the total frequency range.
A paper cone with a unique Nextel coating ensures smooth frequency response and low distortion.
A large magnet system with bumped back plate, together with a very long and light weight CCAW voice coil allow extreme coil excursion with low distortion and excellent transient response.
Heavy copper rings mounted above and below the T-shaped pole piece reduce non linear and modulation distortion and increase overload margin.
Extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment.
Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reduce sound reflexion , air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.

Hand made crossover built with Solen components from France
The crossover was developed empirically, without confinement to the traditional textbook filter formulas. The drivers should be in phase at the crossover frequency, and the sum should be flat when both drivers are at –6 dB relative to the pass band level. Now the inevitable vertical off-axis cancellation, which is always present with the use of non-coincident drivers, is at least outside the listening axis (tweeter axis).

To accomplish this it was necessary to use a 2nd order electrical network in the high pass section and a 3rd order network for the low pass.
